Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, creating compelling sales pitches, and collaborating with our recruitment team to match consultants with client needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our business, the ability to identify common connections with prospects, and the skills to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and acquire new clients
  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Leverage various tools and resources to generate new leads.
  • Sales Pitch Development
  • Understand the common connections between our company and potential clients.
  • Create and deliver tailored sales pitches that align with the prospect’s needs and our services.
  • Present our services effectively to potential clients through meetings, calls, and presentations.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Follow up on leads and opportunities to convert them into successful sales.
  • Consultant Placement and Recruitment
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and place consultants based on client requirements and suitable skill sets.
  • Assist in building a list of potential clients for consultant placement.
  • Source and identify the right consultants from the market to meet client needs.
  • Direct Recruitments: Job postings and follow-up, LinkedIn profiles search, profiles screenings, and initial interviews.
  • Managing a databank of “extended” freelancers.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of services and products to clients.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand business opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and management team.

Qualifications

  • Dutch & English speaking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven 3-5 years experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Good understanding of IT Consultancy business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
